Ingredients

  • Nuts & Seeds (250 g each · roast separately):
  • Gond · Edible Gum
  • Makhana · Fox Nuts
  • Almonds
  • Cashews
  • Walnuts
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Chaar Maghaz · melon, watermelon, pumpkin & cucumber seeds mix
  • Raisins
  • Roasted Chickpeas · Chana

Other ingredients

  • 1375 g semolina · suji

Instructions

  1. Roast Nuts & Seeds.
  2. Heat desi ghee in a pan.
  3. Roast each nut and seed separately on low flame until lightly golden and aromatic.
  4. Let them cool completely.
  5. Grind everything coarsely (do NOT make a paste).
  6. Roast Semolina.
  7. In a clean pan, add desi ghee.
  8. Add 500 g semolina (suji).
  9. Roast on low flame, stirring constantly, until the color changes slightly and a nutty aroma appears.
  10. Flavoring.
  11. Add crushed dry coconut.
  12. Add ½ tablespoon cardamom (elaichi) powder.
  13. Mix well.
  14. Combine.
  15. Add the ground nuts, seeds, raisins, and roasted chana powder.
  16. Add powdered sugar (shakar) according to taste.
  17. Mix thoroughly on very low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  18. Finish.
  19. Add a few whole nuts for texture.
  20. Turn off heat and let it cool.
  21. Store in an airtight jar.
