Creamy Lemon Pepper Chicken Karahi

Ingredients

• 3 kg chicken
• 3 tsp black pepper powder
• 3 tsp cumin powder
• 1½ tbsp coriander powder · dhaniya
• 1½ tsp white pepper
• Salt to taste
• 3 tsp garlic powder
• Juice of 2 lemons
• 3 cup yogurt
• 300 ml fresh cream

When oil separates, finish with

• Lemon slices
• Green chillies
• A small knob of butter

Other ingredients

• 1 cup oil
• 6 chopped onions
• 3 tbsp ginger
• 1½ cup water

Instructions

1. Mix everything well and marinate the chicken. Set aside.
2. Heat ⅓ cup oil and 50 g butter in a pan or karahi.
3. Add whole garam masala (sabut garam masalay).
4. Add 2 chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
5. Add 1 tbsp ginger, garlic & green chilli paste.
6. Add the marinated chicken and ½ cup water.
7. Cover and cook on low flame for 20 minutes.
8. When oil separates, finish with lemon slices, green chillies, A small knob of butter and extra black pepper sprinkle.
9. Serve , creamy, peppery, and perfectly tangy.
