Ingredients

  • 5⅜ cup oil
  • 21½ medium onions · finely chopped
  • 10¾ tsp cumin seeds
  • 10¾ tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 5375 g minced meat · beef, mutton, or chicken
  • Salt to taste
  • 10¾ tsp red chili powder
  • 10¾ tsp crushed red chilies
  • 10¾ tbsp coriander powder
  • 5⅜ tsp turmeric powder
  • 21½ blended tomatoes
  • 10¾ cup mixed vegetables · potatoes, peas, carrots, diced
  • 5⅜ cup water
  • 10¾ tsp garam masala
  • Fresh coriander leaves and green chilies for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot and add chopped onions. Sauté until light golden.
  2. Add cumin seeds and ginger garlic paste. Fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add minced meat and cook for 2-3 minutes until the color changes.
  4. Add all spices: salt, red chili powder, crushed chilies, coriander powder, and turmeric. Mix well.
  5. Add blended tomatoes and cook until oil separates (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Add all the vegetables and ½ cup of water. Mix well.
  7. Cover the lid and pressure cook for 8 minutes (or cook on low flame until the vegetables are tender).
  8. Finish with garam masala, fresh coriander, and green chilies.
  9. Serve hot with roti or naan, perfect for cozy winter dinners!
